Marble Showdown
Created by: Lindberg Studios
Note (Lindberg Studios Recommended Rule): For the best experience, defeated Character cards are kept by the player who wins them. This turns the game into a true Trading Card Game—encouraging rematches to try and win back lost cards or grow your collection even more.
Needed for this Game:
Gooblurs character cards (your targets)
Marbles (3 marbles per player + extras if needed)
String (to mark shooting line)
Flat playing surface
How to Play — OFFICIAL RULES
👥 PLAYERS - 2-4 Players
⸻
🎯 OBJECTIVE
Be the closest marble to the Gooblurs Card.
🎯 Setup
Note: Players decide what cards they want to trade before game starts.
Each round players take turns putting one “prize card” as the target.
Place 1 Gooblur card face-up on a flat surface
Mark a shooting line (about 3–6 feet away depending on difficulty)
Each player uses their own marbles.
🔁 How a Round Works
Players decide what cards they want to trade before game starts. Each round players take turns putting one “prize card” as the target.
1. Take Turns Shooting
Players take turns shooting from behind the line
Each player gets 3 shots total
👉 Important rule:
You can aim anywhere, but you must shoot from behind the line
Once a marble stops, it stays where it is
2. Scoring (Closest Wins)
After all players take 3 shots:
Measure which player’s marble is closest to the card
That player wins the Gooblur card
👉 If a marble is touching the card = instant top priority
🏆 Winning the Game
Play multiple rounds:
Each round = new card
Players collect cards
Winner options:
Most cards after X rounds
First to 5 cards
Or just play for collecting fun
🔥 Tie Breaker
If two marbles are equally close:
Sudden death: each tied player takes 1 extra shot
🎨 Risk-Free “Knock Out”
You can hit other marbles
Knock someone farther away = strategic play
💡 Optional upgrades (make it more fun)
🎯 Trick Zones
Put obstacles or zones:
Bounce shots = bonus bragging rights
Hard angles = higher skill
💡 Optional Prizes
Instead of trading Gooblurs cards, trade marbles! Game play stays the same, but the closest marble to the Gooblurs card wins an opponents marble.
